WHO AM I?
My name is Debra Brent and I have 13 years experience working therapeutically with children and families.
I qualified as a Social Worker in 1993 having obtained a BA (Social Work) four year degree from the University of the Witwatersrand.
I completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Play Therapy at The University of Surrey, England in 2005 and completed the Filial Play Therapy Training for Qualified Play Therapists at The University of York: February 2006. I am a registered Play Therapist with the British Association of Play Therapists. I am registered with the South African Council for Social Service Professions as well as the South African Association of Social Workers in Private Practice.
I regularly receive supervision to ensure that I maintain good standards of practice.
